IINA is born to be a modern macOS application, from its framework to the user interface. Is there anything I can do from here? I can't understand how my Mac has become allergic for lack of better word to an app I've been running for about 4 years now. If you are using VLC on your Mac to display video on the same Mac's screen(s) then this may be of little interest to you. I am now currently back to the latest build yet I'm still encountering this issue. Uninstalling the latest version and installing an older build, in this case VLC 2.2.8. Click on Time v2.0 A small panel appears.
After installing the extension (Time v2.0 ) as I explained above and restarting VLC, you should see it under Extensions on the VLC menu bar (Under VLC).

Uninstalling VLC (latest update Version 3.0.7.1) In Mac OS, this extension only works on VLC 3 and one or two earlier versions (I don’t remember how many). Updating my macOS to the latest Mojave 10.14.4 I have tried a variety of the usual fixes to no avail, which includes: Upon trying again, it would prompt me to send an error report after stating that it unexpectedly closed, but then the cycle would just repeat. Any time I tried to load up a video file of any sort, the app would start for a second, display the media player in a small box (video file wouldn't have started) before then crashing out. The other night VLC simply stopped working.
